The intricately die cut heart envelops the red felt heart and sits upon a wonderfully layered bed of papers. The first layer under the heart is die cut with a lace border, hand tinted for an aged look and edged with metallic heat embossing to give it a feeling of an old but not forgotten love. Likewise, the tag that sits atop the heart is edged with metallic embossing and addresses the recipient of this card, “Love.” Red satin ribbon, various metal brads and twine accent this Valentine, and embossed black felt with a layer of red and then a specialty paper form the base.
