The dyed damask that is used to cover the front and back covers as well as the insides, is so beautiful and truely unique. A one of a kind. Can never be reproduced exactly again. The subtle sheen of the dyed damask weave is lovely. Whether you want to use the journal as a scrapbook album, a visitors book, a (travel) journal, a sketchbook or… The possibilities are endless.

The 24 pages making up the inside of the book, are slightly textured and made from 160 grams paper making them heavy enough for sketching and gouache.
The book is bound using Japanese stab binding technique and my hand dyed cord. A button covered with a hand dyed piece of fabric from the same dye bath as the cord, is attatched to on the front.

Height: 9 inches (23 cm)
Width: 6 inches (15 cm)
