Description

This is a modern 12-panel over-bust 'plunge' corset pattern with a beautiful curve to accentuate your waist. Sizes (UK) 8 -20 (US 4 - 16), approx. cup size A-DD/E. Please note that if you are full-busted a plunge corset will not give great support at the top centre front and spillage at this 'plunging' area can be an issue. There are alternative cup size panels to substitute for sizes A, B, D and DD/E. INCLUDES A 25 PAGE DOCUMENT OF CORSET CONSTRUCTION NOTES!

Note – a 2’’ back gap is factored into this pattern. If you would prefer your corset to close at the back, add 1’’ (25.4mm) to the edge of each panel 6.

The corset length measures 38cm at the centre front (from the top of the bust apex) and 42cm at the back.

This pattern is drafted in AutoCAD and available as an instant download - you will need to print out on size letter (A) or A4 paper, making sure 'actual size' and 'centre the print' is ticked in your print dialogue box. Outline instructions included for making up single layer corsets.

It is recommended that you make a toile to the largest of your measurements to check the fit of the pattern – at this stage you can take in the smaller of your measurements, lengthen if need be, and transfer these amendments to your pattern to ensure a perfect fitting corset!

Made-to-measure patterns: It takes me at least 3 hours to draft a made-to-measure corset pattern, so unfortunately I am unable to refund any monies paid. This service is a two-way process and its success depends very much on a number of aspects - how you measure yourself and how you follow the pattern. I accept no responsibility for inaccuracies regarding the accuracy of your measurements and corset making, however I am very happy to work with you tweaking the corset shape for you once you have made up your toile and given me your feedback. I want you to be happy with your pattern and ultimately the comfort and fit of your corset!
If I am unable to issue your pattern within the 28 days stated I will issue a full refund.

Standard patterns are non-returnable due to the digital nature of these items.

FAQ's
1. What type of made-to-measure patterns do you currently draft? Any of my listed designs can be drafted in different sizes however there may be limitations - bust size etc.
2. How are my measurements transposed on to a flat pattern for your made-to-measure option? Your under-bust and full hip measurements are drafted to your exact measurement taking into account your desired gap at the back of the corset. Your waist measurement will measure your exact measurement minus your desired reduction. A small amount of rib and hip spring will be added to your high hip measurement.
3. How can I print out the pattern from the .pdf file? You will need Adobe reader installed on your computer. The pattern needs to be printed out as its 'actual size' in the centre of the page - there is a scale line on the pattern to check the scaling is accurate. The pattern needs to be printed out on US letter 'A' or A4 paper and sections taped together as per the instructions.
4. Does the pattern include seam allowances? No, you will need to add a seam allowance to the panels.
5. What if the toile/corset doesn't fit if I have opted for a made-to-measure pattern? It is imperative that a toile is made up first to test the pattern. First check that the pattern has been cut out accurately and that the scale measures 100mm or 4'' then check that the panels have been stitched exactly to the lines of the pattern. If not, make these adjustments and test the fit a second time. If the rib compression and high hip adjustments are not comfortable on your made-to-measure pattern, or if you would prefer a change of the drafting curve please get in touch. I am happy to tweak every pattern once post toile - it's a collaboration!
6. Can I use the pattern to make a corset to sell? Yes of course, but it would be great if my brand could be akcnowledged or credited if you do sell a corset made from one of my patterns. If the pattern is to be used numerous times however (more than 10) it would be good to support small businessss such as my own by buying the pattern again or purchasing a different one.
