"MEASURING THE BENEFITS OF RECYCLING" is prominently printed on the yardstick perimeter in green capital letters, proudly proclaiming your earth-saving proclivity.

Though, in actuality, you are doing one better - by UPcycling! Most of the materials I used to make this unique piece were initially intended to do something different, such as measuring lines (as a 3-foot ruler), and stopping up adult beverages (as wine\/champagne\/beer corks).

Protect a table by using it as a trivet for a hot serving dish, or hang it on the wall to stick notes to! Either way is okay, as I've affixed 4 cork feet and 2 metal hangers for it to go both ways.

It's even aesthetically pleasing enough to display unadorned, as art! I cut the corks into uneven slices, and as assembled, they make a type of topographic landscape - especially interesting when light casts cool shadows across it.

Measurements: 9" x 9 & 1\/4" x 1 & 1\/4"

Pushpins, papers, and pot not included.
