This one of a kind ring holder was first created in 2014 for a customer who wanted to capture an image of the college where she and her fiance met. Since then I have sketched and painted many other buildings and landscapes that capture special memories or engagement sites for newly engaged couples.

MY PROCESS:

The 3.75 inch ring holders are handmade to order from soft clay, stamped with the couples names or initials and kiln fired to a bisque state. Afterwards I sketch the custom building, landscape or home portrait onto the dish in pencil then outline the drawing with black glaze. The design is hand painted with non-toxic, lead-free pottery glaze colors, signed on the back then fired once again to a beautiful, long lasting gloss finish.

I send an image of the dish as soon as it has been sketched, painted and fired.

Dishwasher safe - but washing by hand is recommended.

Keepsake ring holders will be gift packaged and carefully shipped to ensure a successful journey from my studio. Please let me know if you would like a gift note included in the package.
