Description

NEW Case Hardened Pin Tip!

Photo 2 and 3 shows how the tool is shipped. Some people like the coloring so I leave it for you to have the option. The colored surface from heat treatment is easily removed with light sandpaper.

NOTE: WASHERS in 4th photo are NOT INCLUDED in the sale. Item ships in 3-5 business days.

Depriming tool used to deprime 50 Caliber BMG brass shell casings with a small hammer or mallet. Depriming leaves a 3.3mm hole in the center of the shell head to attach anything you like to the casing. All Steel construction.

Measures approximately 5.5 in long, 1/2 in shaft with a 3mm depriming pin on one end. Perfect fit to the 3.3mm flash hole to prevent piercing through the primer rather than removing it.

You will need some sort of solid platform to support the shell while hammering out the primer from the inside. In the second photo you'll see what I use but anything to allow the primer to exit free of the shell will work. Those are 2" washers from a local DIY building supply store. It's 5 stacked 2" washers with 1/2" holes with a 2" with 13/16" hole on top. 13/16" is .8125" and the 50 BMG shell head is .804, so it fits really well to center up with.
