Description

Would you like to make money from your creative endeavours? This listing is for a little zine to help you launch your Etsy shop.

Opening an Etsy shop is pretty easy. Etsy leads you through the steps of collecting information that will enable them to pay you, and creating your first listing. I did it on a lazy Sunday morning and it took about ten minutes. I even had a few sales right away, and that was very exciting. However, to be honest, not much happened in my shop until I figured out how to really make it work. And then it took off, and these days my Etsy shop brings in a serious amount of income for my family. It provides me with a steady stream of creative work that makes me incredibly happy. This zine is about how to open the kind of shop that actually sells stuff.

In this zine you'll find suggestions for how much time you need to devote to it as a minimum, what kind of marketing options there are and how to make the most of them, what percentage of time to spend on making versus administration, and even how to make sure the business side of things is streamlined.

The zine is filled with sweet and whimsical artworks, the same pieces that I sell right here in my shop, so it's a pleasure to hold and look at as well as filled with helpful information for you.

This zine is black and white, and printed onto a sheet of A3 paper that has been folded into a little booklet.

International buyers, please contact me for a quote for shipping.

Secure options
  • Accepts Etsy Gift Cards and Etsy Credits
Etsy keeps your payment information secure. Etsy shops never receive your credit card information.
You are welcome to pay via Etsy direct checkout or Paypal.

Some of my items are currently at the Women’s Hospital in Melbourne - you are welcome to pick up from there and pay with a credit card when you do so.

I also welcome layby / payment plans. Just contact me to let me know
- what you’d like to buy
- how much you can afford to pay in each instalment
- whether you’d like to pay weekly, monthly or fortnightly.

For commissions, I will need payment in full before I schedule and start your work.

Returns & exchanges

I gladly accept returns and exchanges
Contact me within: 14 days of delivery
Ship items back within: 30 days of delivery
I don't accept cancellations
But please contact me if you have any problems with your order.
The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
Returns and exchange details
I will offer a refund if you are unsatisfied with your product - please return it to me at your own expense. If the item is damaged I am also happy to refund - just let me know what your issue is. I cannot refund/replace items lost in the mail - it is your responsibility to upgrade to Registered Mail.

Shipping policies

I ship using Australia Post. Sadly the days of overnight shipping are over and customers report it can take some time for a parcel to arrive. Very occasionally a parcel goes astray - for this reason I recommend that you use the Registered Mail shipping upgrade, especially for items over $50. I cannot take responsibility for items lost in the mail - you will need to use your tracking number to address this with Australia Post.

Once a fortnight, I ship all recent orders by customers. Since I have some health issues and travel a bit, the wait can sometimes be longer. Please let me know if your order is urgent and I will do my best to accomodate.

Additional policies

You are welcome to ask me for custom items. To find out more about commissioned works, please check out this page here:
