Description

The well-known and well-loved promise in Jeremiah 29:11 (the theme of a number of my paintings) is calligraphied in white on this teal background with the design in shades of green and yellow. The canvas is 6×6 and the gallery-wrapped 1-3/7 inch sides are painted a solid teal. Made in a smoke-free environment.

The painting you receive will be a copy of this one and will be done by me (the artist of the original) by hand, but it will not be exactly the same. It will be as close as I can make it. This gives you the additional advantage of being able to have it in your favorite colors.

I'm also happy to do your favorite verse or entire passage in your favorite colors. Feel free to browse around the other items in my two shops for ideas, then send me a note!

About my shop, Threshold of Hineni: Hineni House is the name of my home in East Tennessee. Hineni is a Hebrew word that means "Here I am." I think of it in the sense of "This is me, just as I am, with all my quirks and gifts and failures." I love that God accepts me that way. It also means, "Here I am, send me, use me" in the sense of Abraham, Moses, and Isaiah being willing to go wherever God wants them to go and do whatever He wants them to do. It's been my lifetime prayer, as well.

A threshold is what you cross when you go through a doorway. It means that you're entering or exiting ... perhaps coming home after a long day ... or heading out into a fresh adventure. It smells of home fires and comfort. It also affirms a new beginning.

My dream and my prayer is to be instrumental in helping people come to the Threshold of Hineni. Many of my crafts have nothing to do with that ... and some have everything to do with it. But the prayer I pray as I work is always that the recipients would grow closer to God and know Him well enough to follow Him wherever He takes them, to be able to stand on the threshold and say, "Hineni."

From the moment I sent Alyce-Kay an email full of questions, I knew I had a new friend. I wanted a special gift for my best friend and Alyce-Kay took time to ask questions about my friend, our friendship, and then created a beautiful gift. I'm so thankful you received that special Christmas present Alyce-Kay! I will definitely be back!

Was looking for any thing with this scripture and found this! Beautiful as it was already done in my favorite color, teal. I purchased this one for myself, then ordered a purple one for a friend. Alyce-Kay is fast and efficient in every way...as unto the Lord!

Alyce-Kay painted this wonderful scripture art canvas for Madeleine's first birthday. I wanted a very special gift for Maddie, and the bible verse I chose she painted on a princess castle setting to show Maddie that she is a daughter of King Jesus. Thank you again Alyce-Kay for praying for out family. Your precious note is safely tucked in the back of the frame pocket. Maddie will read it one day, and know of the wonderful lady who prayed for her while painting.
