This is such a lovely little hand knitted matinee outfit which would look so adorable on any babe. It is ideal for a baby girl to wear on pram outings to the park or shopping. It would make a perfect gift for a baby shower or welcome baby gift, and can be treasured as a keepsake or heirloom to be passed onto future generations.
I have used a traditional textured stitch with garter stitch borders for the matinee jacket and bonnet. There are 6 pale pink buttons on the front of the jacket to fasten. The bonnet also fastens with a pale pink button. The trousers tie at the waist with a twisted cord which can be replaced with elastic if preferred.
It is knitted in a lightweight pale pink 4ply acrylic yarn, which is non-allergenic and will not cause any itching on baby's delicate skin. This makes it perfect for Baby to wear on cooler Spring / Autumn days.
This outfit should fit a baby of approximately 3 months to 6 months but babies do vary in size so please measure carefully.

chest: 19" / 47cm
length of jacket from lower edge to sleeve: 7" / 17cm
length of sleeve: 6.5" / 16cm
trousers waist: 22" / 55cm
length of leg: 9.5" / 24cm
bonnet circumference:12" / 30cm (stretches to 16" / 41cm)
brim to centre: 7" / 17cm
I recommend handwashing and flat drying this item.
