Description

Buy a bracelet with its very own story! Each bead is handmade from recycled magazines, and each purchase brings resources to the woman who created it.

Unemployment, unfortunately, affects many families in El Porvenir, Honduras. Finding Hope is working to address this issue. We run a beading program aimed at empowering and encouraging women to provide incomes for their families. Through our bead work program, these women are able to use resources readily available and turn them into beautiful pieces of work. By using recycled old magazines, they are able to make beautiful beads and bracelets. This becomes much more than a simple piece of paper. They are now able to buy food, medicine, school supplies and more necessities for their family. The beading program has grown this year from 3 women to 23 women! When you purchase the bracelet, you'll find included a small story about the life of someone across the globe, and how their work in the bracelet program is improving their life!

BUYER'S NOTE: When purchasing a bracelet, you may select approximate sizing and approximate color. Some examples of coloring are included in the images, but every bracelet is unique and won't be the exact one pictured, but they're all beautiful and handcrafted.

CHILDREN'S BRACELETS: It's a surprise! You'll get one of a variety of different color options :)

We will work to ship your bracelet as fast as possible, but keep in mind it is coming from Honduras!

Shipping is included in the price!
