My first trip to Italy in the early 70's. The original image was shot in Florence, printed in black & white and then sepia toned. In addition I hand colored it with photo oils. I arrived in the late fall, and it was so exciting to be in the city with all of the art and food. All of the museums were free, no lines and the city charming. This fountain by Buontalenti (end of 16th Century) is located in the Oltr'arno, that is the other side of Florence across the river. It is modeled after the fountain by Chiarissimo Fancelli located at the corner of the old Corn Market, in Via de' Neri, near Piazza della Signoria.

This is also available as a deep wood block in many sizes, large or small. They make great gifts as well. Please see specials on wood blocks.
