Elegant and lovely set of Japanese Ceremonial Tea Spoons. In original box. Set of 6. Marked 950 Silver at tope of each tea spoon.

*Each tea Spoon features a different topper.

*Original box shows a snake skin design which appears to be printed paper. Brass latch on the front. Box is 5 x 5 1\/2" wide and 1 1\/4" in height. Inside features an ecru silk lining. Spoons rest in separate slots. There appears to be rust stains within each space. Spoons may have been damp at the time of placement within the box.

*DESIGN: Spoons appear to me to be Tea Ceremony spoons, but I do not know that for a fact. Each spoon is 4" long. Shaft of the spoon has a bamboo-like design in three places. The bowl of the spoon shows a flower-like design, outer edges of each are acalloped and pointed, resmebling a flower. Petals of the flower is etched into each spoon. Center of spoons feature the flower stamen. Bowl is 1" in diameter and marked on the back with 950 silver at the top of each.

Toppers for each are as follows:Teahouse, teapot, water bucket with handle, tea jar or container, japanese symbol or archtectural form.

Condition: Mo issues that I can see, other than the rust on the inner silk lining. No other problems.
