Description

Make your own loveable Georgie! You can spread joy by making one for yourself, your child, your grandchild, or for any child you know with this DIY pattern.

Georgie’s an 11 ½” teddy bear—a bundle of love and hugs! He is fully jointed so that you can move and pose his head, arms, and legs just as you would like. My pattern includes instructions for making this teddy bear appropriate for everyone from a baby, to a child, and all the way up to an adult teddy bear collector. And if you want to make your Georgie look exactly like mine, I tell in the pattern exactly what kind of mohair I used and where to purchase it.

In my detailed 17-page pattern, I teach you my bear-making tricks and include all of the necessary instructions (with illustrations!) for everything you need to make a super sweet teddy bear including:
----a detailed list of materials
----tips for cutting, sewing, and sealing mohair
----how to sew your bear by hand OR with a sewing machine
----drawings and directions for the 5 most important stitches in bear-making
----how to embroider a nose and mouth
----how to install 3 different types of joints
----the no-fail, easiest way to attach glass eyes
----the easiest way to attach ears
----making a child-friendly teddy bear
----how to needle sculpt
----a list of helpful websites
----a list of U.S. suppliers for mohair, joints, eyes, etc.
----and, of course, the pattern pieces themselves

That’s just a sample! And if you have ANY questions while you are making your own Georgie, I tell you how to get a hold of me directly.

The best part about this pattern is that you can instantly download his pattern right after your payment!

You are welcome to sell a limited quantity of bears that you make using this pattern. Please mention, though, that the pattern was created by “Bingle Bears by Cheryl Hutchinson.” The pattern itself, however, may not be reproduced and sold.

--IMPORTANT: When printing out your pattern be sure to set the printer setting to “Custom Scaled” at “100%.”

--Note that this listing does not include the actual bear, Georgie. The listing is for the pattern only.
