The Amelia Island Lighthouse is considered the oldest structure on the island. First constructed in 1820 on Georgia's Cumberland Island, it was dismantled and moved in 1938 and reconstructed on Amelia Island.

It is now bordered by homes and its very difficult. to get a really good photo of the structure. We drove around for about an hour trying different vantage points before I settled on this one. I took artistic license and added the birds and a few extra bushes.

This Watercolor Print is 12x12inches. All images are printed here, in my studio using premium Epson Matte papers and the highest quality Epson archival inks.

All images used for reference in my paintings are my own creations.
