I love this pattern!! I did do different yellow hair. I used a chain and then slip stitched back. I made 7 because that's what all the pics show from the movie. I made 3 that were about 20 chains long and then 2 that where 18 chains long and 2 that were 13 chains long. I threaded them all through the bow and tied knots to hold them on I them used the pink to see the bow on so the yellow wouldn't show. I also made a chain of pink and then single crocheted back to make the neck. I just measured how many around the neck. I then put it on so the back side of the stitches were showing and whip stitched it to the neck.

My sister requested a Scrump doll for her and her family's Lilo and Stitch Halloween costumes and this was perfect! I got a big bag of random buttons from Amazon for $5 to do the eyes and belly button, and I ended up using hairspray and a glue stick to make the hairs stay up sort of. I adjusted the head a little to make it more squished looking but the pattern was otherwise perfect! Also, love how the pattern maker suggested doing decrease stitches!! I did her style of decrease stitches on another project I did and it's so much easier and looks nicer than a regular decrease!

For such a simple design, the price is a bit steep. Overall, I love it regardless and am beyond happy to add a little Scrump doll to my collection! This was the best and closest pattern to the original that I could find and it does not disappoint. Very easy to understand. I did make a few changes as I did slip stitches to make the hair (it stands up on its own so you don’t need any glue). I also made the bow only 40 stitches and the inner piece of the bow 10 stitches (I wanted a tighter look, doesn’t require stuffing that way either). Overall, great pattern! :)

This pattern was great!! The portion with the bow got a little confusing and since I planned to give this to a kid I opted for a felt bow instead so the stuffing was secure, but overall really happy with how she turned out!
