Description

The Masai are semi-nomadic people located in Kenya and northern Tanzania. Masai reside near the game parks of East Africa and they are among the most well-known of the African ethnic groups. They speak Maa, a local dialect, Swahili and English.

Red is the most favored color of the Masai men. I created this abstract art piece to share the beautiful story of the Masai people of East Africa.

Artist Statement
Art work is raw edge, machine appliqued, and machine quilted with Kente prints and hand dyed Batik as fabric of choice.

This art piece was a 3rd place winner in the 2015 'Art Quilt category' at Northwest Quilters Guild Expo held at the Portland Expo center.

Dimensions~ 18" Wide/45" Long
Images do not do enough justice, but these works of art are sights to BEHOLD!

I am not happy at all
The new Asabone Paper Patterns Series 2. 13th in the series As Seen On The Quilt Show and Published in American Quilter Magazine!
Wendy Mamattah responded

Buyer purchased on impulse and never took time to read all instructions and information related to item carefully. Buyer also has a store on Etsy, so if there were any issues with my merchandise, as Etsy store owners we could have dealt with that and settled matter professionally.
On June 15th buyer sent a Convo asking me how many independent quilt patterns were in a series? I sent her a response informing her there were 13 in that series. She later responded saying “Great, you will hear from me soon” within the next hour she purchased the Masai paper pattern and chose next day shipping. Pattern shipped next day.
Buyer received the pattern on Monday the June 20th on time. I don't see where I went wrong here, had she READ the pattern instructions there would be no issues.
