This Caipirinha and Caprioska muddler (by Bob Gilmour) is the smallest of my bar and kitchen muddling stick range and is designed for use in small to medium glasses (medium glass shown in image). It's also a great muddler for Old Fashioneds and similar drinks.

Besides being perfect for muddling ingredients for most small-glass cocktails, the short muddler is also great in the kitchen. Grind up spices straight on your cutting board or on the bench top. A muddler is a wonderfully stylish tool for making nice smooth garlic paste or breaking down basil or coriander. You'll find plenty of uses for it.

You can use this muddler for breaking food items straight in the pan or wok for fusion-style east-west dishes. Then, go ahead and use it as as stirrer. The short muddler is very comfortable to use and is very strong. It is double sealed, so you can use it in the bar as well as the kitchen ... although please have one for each if you're going to do both.

Like all of my utensils, your muddler is sanded to a very smooth finish and fully sealed with two applications of food neutral 2 part sealer. Unlike utensils which are only coated in oil (vegetable or mineral) which washes off the first time you wash them, the sealing process that I use ensures that your muddler will keep its color and look great for years.

Your muddler is pretty much maintenance-free. If it finds it's way into the dishwasher by mistake ... don't panic ... it will be OK, as long as it's only occasional. To clean up, treat it like any of your hand-wash items and wipe dry after use. If you plan to use you muddler purely in the cocktail bar, PLEASE DON'T OIL IT ... nobody likes an oil slick in their drink.

Sometimes also, mix-ups in shipping labels occur and an item intended for someone else might turn up. Whilst sometimes inconvenient, such incidents can generally be dealt with via communication.

If a buyer receives an item that he or she is not happy with on the basis of quality or function, the person should make contact via Etsy Convo with Gilmour Design immediately to initiate communication. The situation can generally be rectified with a return/refund or a return and product exchange. In these cases, the cost of return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer although Gilmour Design will usually cover the shipping cost to send another item.

If the buyer receives the wrong item, Gilmour Design covers all refund/shipping/exchange costs. In that event, please initiate a Convo via Etsy straight away.

Refunds for custom made items are based on several criteria. During the planning and creation stages, the buyer will receive images of the item for approval before shipping. If the item ships and the buyer is unhappy, a communication process with the seller should be initiated via Etsy Convo. A refund less shipping cost or partial refund less shipping and agreed-upon development fee may be made at the discretion of the seller if the item is deemed to be "re-sellable" at any selling venue. No refunds will generally be available for personalised items which have been laser engraved or otherwise bear features deemed to render them un-sellable in general. Australia Post is the preferred shipping vehicle and has been found to be extremely reliable and secure. Item tracking is generally available for all purchases. The standard services available for Etsy purchases are Domestic (in Australia) Road Shipping (with tracking) - generally 5 to 6 days max - and International Airmail to most countries (with tracking) - usually around 10 days to UK, USA and Europe.

Other Australia Post shipping service options such as Express Post (Australia) and item insurance are available by negotiation (please Convo before purchasing) ... simply requiring a modified one-off listing to reflect extra postage costs for such services.
