The Minnesota Connection by Al Palmquist with John Stone, "A Terrifying Story of Teenaged Prostitution and a Preacher-Cop Determined to Stop It." Copyright 1978 by Bible Voice, Inc.

This is sold as a true story involving the "pipeline" of underage girls forced into prostitution by pimps in Minnesota -- then pushed on to New York. In reality, studies at the time indicate this was not the problem it was said to be. Neither the number of young women, nor the "connection" to New York. Like today's tales of horrors, the facts didn't get in the way of selling a story.

Al Palmquist was the preacher-cop Billy Graham follower who founded Midwest Challenge, trafficking and slavery of any kind is horrible, but after that, the story gets sensationalized -- both to sell books and an agenda.

If you're into the history of white sex slavery, sold with a manipulative and exploitative nature (not unlike the "true" but busted sex trafficking stories of today), this is a book for your collection.

Fantastic box. I have 5 boxes with this same floral background with this woman on them--by different companies. This made the 6th. The colors on this box are far superior to my others.

I have never received such amazing service in my life. I inquired about this mixer and asked if I could also purchase bowls to go with it. Deanna responded so quickly and was so accommodating! I wish I could give a six-star review, because I would. Shipping was incredibly fast and everything arrived in prime condition. I'm so happy I made this purchase!

Wonderful book. Still had my childhood copy but my sister had cut out a lot of the pictures...always wanted to see them again! Fun memories. Great book, and great service.
