Description

Birdhouse, supplies and instructions to construct a DIY living roof birdhouse. - Featured in Country Gardens Magazine!

Kit includes birdhouse made of weather resistant cedar with a side door for nest removal. Entrance hole size is 1 1/4" - suitable for nuthatches, chickadees, titmice and wrens. Back of birdhouse has key hole for hanging. Outside of birdhouse is stained and painted in distressed colors - the inside nest area is unpainted / untreated natural cedar. Each birdhouse is unique and will vary slightly. Please indicate color choice and allow 1 week for shipping depending on availability.

Plants are not included...

To construct the living roof - sphagnum moss, chicken wire, water proof liner (for roof base) and detailed instructions are included.

Supplies needed that are not included - potting soil, staple gun and plants (I use winter hardy sedums and succulents in the living roof birdhouses I sell at our local farmers' market).
