Description

Brass bottle stopper Deer.
Handwork. Material - brass, natural cork
Dimensions: height 13cm, width 8cm
Weight 300g

A prideful deer will look perfectly on bottles of mature beverages.

How do we manufacture our products?

At first we use play dough to create a model (let's take a deer as an example). Then we make a model of rubber and pour in the wax. Then we create a gypsum form, evaporate the wax out and pour in the brass heated up to 970 °C (1778 °F).
After the gypsum form is broken, the deer comes to life. Quite a few processing stages are still on the way, though! We give cork the cone shape and put all the elements together into the bottle stopper!

Every product has its unique texture, because each time we make a new mold.

You can be sure that brass animals will live more than one life. They will preserve smell of many beverages and who knows - maybe your great-grandsons will use it to close a bottle of wine opened to celebrate their new dwelling!

Stoppers are little sculptures, they are cool, hard, heavy. As time goes by, the brass naturally gets darker if the stoppers are out of use. But if you occasionally hold the stoppers in your hands or perform some easy manipulations the stoppers will keep their bright.

Brass is an alive material that is changing all the time. Humidity, temperature and light can all have an impact on the product's color. In order to keep the stopper shining it is enough to use special liquids for the metal products. Or you can also use sal ammoniac or lemon juice and soft fabric to polish. Take away the cork stopper and separately clean the brass elements of the stopper, then put all the elements back together again. That's it! :

This is a piece of art that I feel so lucky to own. The seller is so easy to work with, the packaging is incredible and it arrived very quickly from Ukraine. This is my 3rd bottle stopper and I love them. (I will be cutting and pasting this on to my other recent purchase - the Lion bottle stopper - it is equally as gorgeous)

It is absolutely beautiful! Sadly had to part with it as it was a present but it was exactly what I hoped for, and so wonderful in real life. Extremely helpful communication from the seller. I'm completely happy, thank you.
