No white nor red was ever seen
So am'rous as this lovely green.

— Andrew Marvell-mid 17th century

A most enchanting and romantic mask.

This mask has been covered in an aged-aqua floral fabric. In the centerpiece is a distressed mirror decopauged with an image of a portrait by Franz Winterhalter, a royal court painter from the mid-nineteenth century.

Above both eyes there is an adornment of metal mesh that adds a hint of Victorian mystery. It is trimmed with silver chain from which dangles many tiny silver metal teardrops that shimmer with movement. Satin ribbon ruffles; ribbon flower garland and more decoupaged mirrors add the final flourishes to this rich and provocative mask.

This mask is lined with felt and comes ready to wear with a ribbon tie or ready to place on a wall or table and simply admire as a piece of art!
