The futuristic tapering form was inspired by Seattle's Space Needle and mid-century modern design.

Paired with a white shade the Space Needle lamp is compatible with modern trends. It is suitable in a living/family room, office or bedroom.

I received a degree in ceramic sculpture and really enjoy working in the round on the shapes for my lamp bases. I use the coil and pinch technique. This gives the surface a soft, hand sculpted texture and sets it apart from manufactured items.

Each piece is cast in a mold that I made from my original, then painted with color. The raised white stripes are applied by hand and give the lamp base a little more texture. After it has been fired once, I add a gloss glaze and fire it one more time for a shiny finish.

My lamps are all finished using top quality hardware. The shades are custom made for me in the USA.
