We usually ship your order within three days. Within Germany, delivery should not take more than three to four days. In Europe, please expect about a week to ten days. All other destinations, between two and three weeks. Due to COVID-related merchandise shipping restrictions to OVERSEAS DESTINATIONS — Deutsche Post (German Postal Service) has suspended air freight shipping of International Mail, so we had to revamped our delivery process — we are currently unfortunately unable to display that tracking information in Etsy. However, we are in possesion of all corresponding USPS tracking numbers, so if you have a question about the status or whereabouts of your order, please let us know and we will check it for you.

Your local post office will provide QUICKER and BETTER ASSISTANCE. Ask who delivered the package and ask for the details of that day's delivery. They are used to these questions and will generally provide helpful information. If a package does not show up at all, please FILE A CLAIM with USPS. We can ONLY reimburse you or re-ship your order upon receipt of a SIGNED STATEMENT from you (on paper and sent to us as an attachment to an email) confirming that: (a) you took all available measures to track down your package; (b) you contacted your local post office; and, (c) you checked with neighbors or colleagues and that this was all to no avail. Unfortunately, every once in a while, arbitrary customs inspections will delay the arrival of an order (and, incidentally, the progress of tracking). Also, very regrettably, rarely loss or theft does happen on the way ... So, if your order is taking much longer than usual, please contact us! In case of non-arrival, we will of course sort things out for you (i.e., re-send the order, or refund it, if total loss can be established).

Kindly note that your order from OUTSIDE THE EU may upon entry into your country be subject to collection of CUSTOMS DUTIES. As this will differ in detail from country to country, we are unable to say whether this might be the case and what the concrete amount of customs taxation will then be. If this is of concern to you, we advise you to inquire about this at your country's customs authority BEFORE you order from us. If you are ordering from AUSTRALIA, please NOTE the following: The Australian government passed a law July 1, 2018 that impacts orders shipped to Australia. This law requires Etsy to collect 10% Goods and Services Tax (GST) on goods sold to Australian buyers from overseas. Etsy will collect the tax on these orders shipped to Australia and remit the tax on your behalf. Etsy will automatically include the tax in the buyer’s total and the buyer will pay the tax at checkout, and Etsy will be responsible for remitting it to the Australian tax office (ATO).

The regulations on the export and import of jewelry from Germany to SWITZERLAND are extensive and cause an effort that we, as a small company, cannot do in terms of personnel and money. For that reason, we are unfortunately not able to sell to Switzerland. All orders from Switzerland will be therefore canceled, and the payment refunded immediately.

- I would like to order two items, will this reduce the shipping costs?
Shipping costs are always calculated only for the first item in one order, all other pieces in the same order are then free of shipping cost.
- My article has been marked as shipped for days but has not arrived yet.
Up to five business days mailing time, so from the dispatch notification / marking should please wait, then, however, unfortunately, there is probably some error ... (eg post has forgotten to insert notification card for parcels and it is unnoticed at the post office or at neighbors, or the shipment is unfortunately lost). In the run-up to Christmas, it sometimes takes longer.
- What happens if a shipment has been proven to be lost?
We will send it to you again. (If a lost item is no longer available, the purchase price will be refunded.)

In case of a return due to a defect, we will of course refund the return postage by enclosing it with the re-shipment or by refunding it with the purchase amount. - I would like to resell the jewelry acquired by Villa Sorgenfrei, what should I pay attention to?
Without exception, we exclude any commercial resale of our products. The order therefore explicitly recognizes that all articles contained therein are exclusively for non-commercial private use.
- Who is behind the Villa Sorgenfrei Schmuckmanufaktur GmbH?
The two partners of Villa Sorgenfrei Schmuckmanufaktur GmbH are the founder and designer of Villa Sorgenfrei Schmuckmanufaktur Claudia Pöpsel and her husband Dirk Dotzert, who as managing director covers the administrative part.

As a precaution, unfortunately, we must explicitly point out that all of our jewelery designs originally created by Claudia Pöpsel are legally protected by law. Likewise, the inttelctual property and/or copyright laws may be relevant. So please do NOT COPY the jewelery with which Claudia goes out of her way, spends a lot of talent, energy, time and passion, and is therefore very unhappy about imitations and imitators. Copying jewelry designs, including their names and descriptions, as well as copying or imitating their photos, is uncreative, unfair, and unlawful, and therefore can unfortunately have very serious legal consequences for imitators, including, but not limited to, e.g. Injunctive relief claims and damages in each case.

Notes on battery disposal
In connection with the distribution of batteries or the supply of devices containing batteries, we are obliged to inform you of the following:
You are legally obliged to return used batteries as end users. You can return used batteries, which we have as new batteries in the range or have led, free of charge to our shipping warehouse (shipping address). The symbols shown on the batteries have the following meaning:
The symbol of the crossed-out wheelie bin means that the battery must not be disposed of with household waste.
Pb = battery contains more than 0.004 mass percent lead
Cd = battery contains more than 0.002% by mass of cadmium
Hg = battery contains more than 0.0005% by mass of mercury.

Note on the recycling of used batteries
You are legally obliged as end user to recycle used batteries. In Germany, any point of sale that sells batteries must also accept such used batteries. There are also public and private waste disposal companies. You can also return used batteries, which you have received from us as new batteries (Freienwalder Str. 17, 13055 Berlin).
