An open tree fort with steps and a ladder, designed as a hideaway for the young - or young at heart. The Outpost fort uses a triangular support behind the tree to provide a larger floor area than the Terrazza design and includes trapdoor access from a suspended landing reached by ladder. Most of the structure can be built on the ground and raised into the tree in sections, making assembly easier and safer than building in the tree.

Specification
- 42 sq ft floor space

I have to admit, it’s an intimidating project, but that’s on me. Everything supplied here is very professional and top notch instructionally. Thank you!!

Great set of detailed plans, and super helpful back and forth communication as I had to tweak some components for my tree. The building was pretty straightforward, but wouldn't say it is for beginners.

Sort of over engineered for what it is, but pretty cool. Will cost you about $600 in lumber and another $600 in hardware. At least that's what it cost me. Also, don't even think about trying to do this yourself. At least the first stages, where you're setting up the main structural supports. Definitely a 2-3 person job. And even with two people, you'll need to set up a pulley to hold things in place. NOT a one or even two weekend job. It's very involved. We're about half way through the project, and we've already sunk in about 20 hours between two adults (one of which is an experienced woodworker). I imagine this is going to take at least another 40 hours. All that being said, the seller has been FANTASTIC answering questions and offering advice. Very responsive. I really appreciate that.
