Description

Hello:

This listing is for a yellow roses bone china tea cup and saucer made in England. The mark does not specify a maker; there is only a crown motif, and the statement of "fine bone China Made in England" stamped in brown. I notice that this transfer was used by both Lefton and Rosina, but this set has a gold dusted edge that those two maker's did not use. This set has a yellow rose bud inside the rim of the cup.

The pretty shade of yellow roses are set against a pure white bone china. The rose leaves are painted in three colors of brown, light green and dark green. This tea cup is not footed but narrows at the bottom. The edges of both tea cup and saucer are scalloped and gold dusted.

The tea cup stands 2 1/2 inches tall. The opening diameter is 3 1/4 inches. The saucer has a nice depth and stands 1 inch high. The diameter of the saucer is 5 1/2 inches.

The condition of this set is excellent. There are no chips or cracks. No crazing. No fleabites. Gold is in good condition.

This set looks as fresh as springtime. Nice for a collector, or to use for your morning tea. Pretty in cottage setting. Consider having a tea party for friends. Very relaxing to do in our rush around world.
