Description

This Art Deco style linocut has developed from a sketch study of tandem cyclists and my experience of riding tandem. I've tried to capture the 'sweet spot' feeling when two riders sync together and roll along at speed in perfect harmony. The swallows are a beautiful metaphor for the grace and flow one feels when riding.....occasionally. For a converse experience have a look at my 'Hillclimb' linocut.

The print is black oil based printing ink applied to high quality, acid free 224gsm Canson watercolour paper.

The image measures 20x15cm on paper sized 25x22cm and is shown in a standard 'off the shelf' 30x24cm frame.

This print is one of a limited edition of 50, each is numbered, bears the title 'Perfect Harmony' and is signed. It is sold without frame or mount. You will not necessarily receive the numbered print shown.

As each and every print is individually handpulled there is inevitably some minor variation in the ink transfer. I only sell items I would be happy to hang on my own wall, but no two are identical. Your purchase is an original piece of art.
