Description

This listing is for my Farm Animal E-Book of Patterns in PDF format.

The book consists of 7 patterns:

Horse:
The pattern requires aran yarn and size 4mm straight knitting needles.
The pattern is fairly easy, knitted in stocking stitch with increasing and decreasing.
The pattern is very detailed and is 10 pages long with instructions and photos to guide you through the creation process, it is the same pattern as the unicorn pegasus pattern, except the unicorn pegasus pattern includes a horn pattern and a wings pattern. This pattern is just for the horse pattern.
If knitted in a handspun your horse will measure:
Approx 7.5 inches / 8 inches from tail to nose.

Donkey:
She is such a sweet little character, perfect as a member of a nativity or a farm scene. She is knitted flat on 2 needles, the only extra pieces to be sewn on are her two ears. She is a very easy knit, with just some increasing and decreasing.
The pattern is 31 pages long and I have added extensive photos and instructions for the finishing of this project. You will be guided every step of the way. She is knitted in a worsted yarn and 4mm straight needles. Instructions for the mane and tail have been included too.
Measurements:
7 inches tall to the top of her ears, 7 inches from her muzzle to her tail.

Suffolk Sheep:
It is a fairly easy pattern using garter stitch with increasing and decreasing.
The pattern has plenty of photos to guide you and is 8 pages long.
The sheep is knitted in DK or handspun yarn on two straignt size 4mm needles. The sheep in the photo is knitted in DK yarn and knits up to 3.5 inches tall to the top of his head and 5 inches from snout to tail.

Pig:
She is such a sweet character.
I have knitted her in a double knitting wool and her finished measurements are:
4 inches tall
5.5 inches from tail to snout
This pattern is quite easy, it is knitted in stocking stitch, with increasing and decreasing. I have knitted the tail as an i-cord. I have knitted with size 4mm straight needles and this pattern is flat. If you ever need to ask me a question about the pattern, I am just an email away.
The eyes have been needle felted on with fleece and a felting needle.
The pattern is 10 pages long with lovely photos of the creative process:)

Goat:
This pattern is knitted on size 4mm needles in an aran yarn. The pattern is knitted flat. I have knitted him in garter stitch with increasing and decreasing. I have also used I-cords in the pattern. The pattern has many photos to guide you through the creation process and is 9 pages long.
Measurements:
4 inches tall to the top of his horns
5 inches from muzzle to tail

Cow:
Once knitted up Clover measures: 5.5 inches from hoof to horn tip and 7.5 inches from snout to tail.
Clover's pattern is knitted flat and in one piece with size 4mm needles. The pattern has increasing, decreasing and I-cords. The eyes and snout are needle felted on with a felting needle.
The black spots are knitted separately and sewn on once Clover has been stuffed.

Chicken:
For a while now I have had requests for a chicken knitting pattern and I have been trying to figure out a design for a pattern that could be knitted all in one piece. I wanted to knit a chicken on two needles and do hardly any sewing up at all. This chicken is knitted all in one, once you have finished knitting the pattern she already has her chicken shape and all you have to do is sew up one seem on one side and she is finished. She is not knitted as a square. The pattern is knitted in garter stitch with two needles, you will need to know how to increase into stitches and decrease stitches and this is what gives this chicken her shape :)
This particular pattern knits up to 3 inches tall and 4 inches wide. You will be able to easily make her smaller or bigger by slightly changing the pattern:) I have knitted her in DK merino yarn.
