GREENWARE
When a piece of pottery has dried completely it is referred to as a piece of greenware. This means it has lost all water through evaporation and has no flexibility. Bending it will break it. You cannot add anything to it. You cannot carve anything from it. You cannot do anything to it except break it! This is purely a passive state for the clay awaiting the first firing.

I'm in love with my new mug! First, the handmade workmanship is superb. The colors are beautiful; they honor the region that inspired them. The cat motif makes me smile. The shape of the mug and the handle are unique/gorgeous. I was so glad to be able to select a large size mug which is all I use these days. It arrived so well packaged. So happy to add this beauty to my collection!

These mugs are so fun! The flare at the top of the opening, gave me what felt like a “full-face-hug” when I took a big drink!!! The shape is very cool, the workmanship is good, the glaze colors are really beautiful & creative & the huge-eyed kitties are awesome. I can’t wait to break these out when I have company!
