HALO - Pure pleats and metallic applique
Description
I love buying vintage for the purpose of reworking and reviving them and changing them into something much more wearable, modern and unique. I design/drape them directly onto my stand and use a mixture of both new & vintage trims/fabrics.
This dress started off as a plain, simple vintage slip dress in white. I wanted it to look angelic, so applied white pleated fabric to it and vintage cotton cutwork lace. It is finished off with metallic appliques to frame the bust and waistline.
Measurements: Recommended size UK12/US10/MEDIUM-LARGE - For a loose, soft fit, a size under this would be ideal.
Bust: approx 47cm
Waist: approx 45cm
Length = approx 100cm with adjustable straps
I would recommend dry clean but a gentle hand wash should be OK.
Please note: Each piece may have slight imperfections which is just part of the overall aesthetic and may not be to everyone's taste such as raw finishes, contrast/visible hand stitching etc..
