Hemp (a variety of Cannibas Sativa) is a wonder-plant that provides a renewable source of material for thousands of products and is one of the earliest plants to ever have been cultivated by man.

Hemp can be used to make:
- food
- animal feed/bedding
- fuel
- paint

- chemical absorbents
- construction materials
- cordage
- cloth
- paper
- plastics

Farmers love it because:
- cheap to produce
- detoxifies soil/prevents soil erosion
- requires less water and land to grow than other crops
- prevents the overgrowth of weeds/avoids need for herbicides
- grows quickly
- doesn't require pesticides

It's great for jewelry because:
- environmentally friendly
- naturally mold/mildew resistant
- stronger than cotton/other natural fibers

Hemp is a natural plant fiber and initially has a similar texture to linen. It will not feel silky or satin-like as is common with nylon and other synthetic cord. Hemp cord is polished with a variety of natural starches to make it easier to work with during construction. As a result, when you first receive your hemp item, it may feel sturdy or stiff to you. But as you wear it the hemp begins to absorb the natural oils in your skin, making it much softer and more flexible over time. Hemp is not coated in wax, so it's a great choice for vegans too!

Hemp items: While hemp is mildew resistant, it is not waterproof. When hemp jewelry is frequently submerged in water (such as when bathing or swimming) the knots can become "fuzzy", worn looking, or the color can fade. Water will also deteriorate hemp fibers much quicker than normal/dry wear. To keep your jewelry in good shape for a longer time, take it off before you hop in the shower :)

Metal items: Most metal items in my shop are made with stainless steel or alloys that are safe in water.

Gemstone items: Some gemstones and crystals can get wet and are often cleansed in water. Other gemstones will be destroyed by water. If you're not sure if your desired stone is water-safe, please feel free to send me a message for assistance.

Bracelets are adjustable via pull cords.

A 6" bracelet will fit a 6" wrist when fully tightened. The pull cords provide an extra 4"-5" for the bracelet to expand upon.

Custom sizing is free! Please provide a wrist measurement for the best fit (in or cm). If you can't get a measurement, see below for rough sizing guide. If no size is provided, it will be made in the 6"+ size.

To initiate a return, simply contact me for a return authorization and the return address. Once I receive and inspect the returned item, I will refund the item cost in full and you will receive confirmation via email. Shipping costs are nonrefundable as they do not go to me, they go to the U.S. Postal Service.

Refunds can only be issued to the original purchaser via the original payment method. If you received a gift that you would like to return, please have the person who originally bought the gift initiate the return.
