Rubber is an elastic polymer that arises as a milky emulsion ( known as latex) in the sap of various plants.
In this lithograph found some plants containing latex as ;
1. Hevea guianensis.
2. Manihot glaziovii (Manicoba or ceara rubber tree).
3. Landolphia florida.
4. Castilloa elastica ( the Panama Rubber Tree).
5. Palaquium gutta ( tree known source of gutta-percha latex).

110 years old print. Book plate print.
Published by the Institute Bibliographic of Leipzig in 1904.
