Black History Doll

What an adorable little Black Americana ~memorabilia ~Doll. Marked Japan on her back. Measures approximately 4 1\/2" and as you can tell by the pictures she is in very good condition considering it's age. Original string jointed arms & legs, she can sit up or lay down, she has a fixed neck & 3 tuffs of hair with green bows, and a molded lock of hair at the top front of her head. and what looks like the original old crocheted dress, bonnet, panties, booties, in a cream & yellow baby yarn with green ribbons . She has a white painted rim around her eyes and a rosy pink painted mouth. The doll is in very good condition, no chips or cracks noted. Her original hair is also intact, with 3 small pony tails.

All my antiques & dolls were part of my Mom & Dad's collection that was left to me. They had an Antique shop in my hometown of Cromwell CT. back in the early 60's. Most of their pieces were purchased from shops in Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire.
