For mild steel these are made from heavy duty 12 gauge steel (almost 1/8 in thick). They come unpainted and you can just let the weather for a nice rust patina or paint them a color of your choice with high temp paint found in most hardware stores.
You can even be more creative with these and use them for other things besides fire pits such as small planter boxes or make a boarder around one of your trees, flowers, etc. Uses are unlimited.
Use in a safe area and keep away from all combustibles. Not for use on flammable patios or decks.

Mike is wonderful! There are was an accidental mix-up (happens to us all), and he more than made things right as fast as possible! His communication was always very efficient. My parents and sisters family love the fire rings. I would highly recommend this product and business!

I got 8 panels 4 of one initial and 4 of another. A few of them don’t line up to where the initials are facing the right way, they are backwards when looking at them. But good quality and appreciate making it.

I was thinking about leaving a scathing review but that wouldn’t be fair or accurate. I had requested another letter in exchange for a letter that I had inadvertently put in my purchase cart, but the wrong letter came anyway. When the owner of the shop saw the error he immediately righted the problem and sent the requested letter which I received within a few day days. So, it’s good to take a moment and breath and not jump to unnecessary conclusions. The letters are beautiful and I would order from this shop again.
