Description

Unique. Vintage 1970s art tie from Prince Consort. Qiana nylon. Unique Toulous Lautrec's poster design of JAne Avril. Light dusty green ground with olive green, gold and black hues. This tie definitely needs some TLC to replace the lining and re-sew one frayed edge. A skilled sewer could easily do. We just thought this tie was too unique to pass by. No exterior stains. Built in tie clip. 56 1/2" long. 4" wide.

Returns and exchange details

We have tried to describe items to the best of our ability. Please note there may be slight color differences between the photos and the actual items and remember that all vintage items have general wear and tear from being on the planet for a long time. Most of the items listed are in "as found" condition. We would be happy to take extra photos and provide more details for you if you are unsure about purchasing an item. If there is a problem with merchandise you have received, PLEASE contact us, ASAP, and we will try to resolve it. We want you to be happy with your purchases from Casalupe.


There are NO returns or refunds unless we incorrectly measured or grossly misrepresented an item at time of listing. Please carefully read measurements and description.

CLOTHING:
All measurements are taken while garment is lying flat. Also, all items are vintage, some over 50 years old and there is a certain amount of wear to each item. We do our best to go over each piece to represent the quality of the item listed. Please remember vintage clothing is sized very differently than today's modern clothing. Carefully check your measurements.

As of 5/7/2014: We are using a condition guide to assist you.

Perfect :The item is in relatively the same condition as when it was new with no notable blemishes or wear.

Excellent: The item has been worn but with no notable blemishes.

Great: The item has been worn with very minor notable blemishes.

Good: The item shows obvious signs of wear and minor notable blemishes including small holes and stains. It may need light mending or repair.

Fair: The item exhibits many notable blemishes including tears and large stains. It most likely needs mending and/or repair before use.

Poor: We probably wouldn't post such an item but perhaps it is something we believe one can use for parts.

Please note: As with most vintage clothing, the clothing in our shop has not been laundered by us. We generally send "as is"- the condition it was found. Sometimes, we do dry clean, which we note in listing. We will NEVER send items with mildew or soiling. We really do try our best to send lovely merchandise. Occasionally some of our items have perfume or dry cleaning/storage odors.

RETURNS: If we agree upon a return/refund, item MUST be sent back (postmarked) within (3) THREE days of receipt. Buyer must pay return shipping charges. We will refund through your original form of payment if the item is in the same condition it was in when sent to you. We will only refund the cost of item, not shipping.

Shipping policies

SHIPPING: Within the U.S. we generally ship most packages via Priority (includes tracking and $50 insurance). Depending on the size and weight of your item we will sometimes ship First Class with tracking (which does not include insurance). We mail books via USPS "Media Mail" service in the U.S.

We prefer to ship merchandise in boxes. However, at times we will send items, securely, in envelopes to reduce the cost of shipping.

We cannot be responsible for lost or stolen packages so please contact us if you would like to purchase insurance before paying for an item!

Certain items require a signature confirmation and will have insurance added to the shipping cost.

International customers, PLEASE NOTE: The prices listed DO NOT include insurance or guaranteed delivery. USPS tracking only lets you know we have shipped your item and can not be responsible for an item once it is abroad. Lost items in international shipping systems will NOT be refunded.

If you would like to upgrade shipping services (such as registered or express mail) to track your item abroad, please send us a message (PRIOR to purchasing) and we will send you an accurate quote as soon as possible.

International customers: We ship First Class International Mail. Please be aware we can only provide a Customs Form number#. This only provides tracking to the U.S. border and no tracking in your country. USPS states delivery in 6-10, but it DOES sometimes take longer.

If you would like another transporter have a conversation with us BEFORE you purchase an item and we will send you a quote. Another mode of transportation is considerably more expensive.

If you do not see an international shipping price on an item, please ask and we will research and send a quote to you as soon as possible.
