Description

Hey, it's Chicago... totally inaccurate, definitely not to scale, but WAY adorable! Home to the Bulls, the cubs, and the birthplace of my favourite band OK Go.
This stitch features several landmark Chicago buildings:
The Willis Tower (Sears Tower), Aon Centre, John Hancock Centre, Crain Communications Building, Two Prudential Plaza, Park Tower

Make your piece unique to you by including as much or as little confetti (french knots) as you desire. OR switch out the french knots with sequins or small glass beads for a different look!

The finished size of the piece is approximately 9" by 9" on 14 count aida (depending on how much space you leave above your city for confetti) The example shown in these photos has been mounted in a 9" hoop.

Watch a 60 second time lapse video of this piece being created!

This listing is for a pattern ONLY, which will look similar to the sample shown in these photographs once completed by you. You are not buying the completed piece, only the pattern. The PDF of the pattern will be available for instant download once your payment is complete, so you can get stitching right away! :)

FAQs

I haven't seen a bouquet I've been unable to capture in embroidery! My bouquet portraits aim to capture the essence of your bouquet. Every flower of your bouquet cannot be embroidered, but your bouquet will be recognizable as your own. Colours will be selected based on the photos you send. Choosing photos that are true to colour and show the general shape of your bouquet are a great help. I will remain in contact with you during the process with any questions I might have about your bouquet.
I am always happy to take on custom work and will work with you to create the perfect hoop for you. Simply send me a convo and let's get started!
Because of the highly personalized and time-consuming nature of custom hand embroidery, I cannot offer refunds for custom items.
I have a growing list of cities lined up for my Confetti City cross stitch pattern series, if your city is not yet available please feel free to send me a convo and I might add your city to my list!

Embroidery patterns are new to my shop, if you're interested in a pattern for anything you see in my shop please let me know and I may make it available in the near future!
Absolutely! I carry many different colours and prints of fabric, and over 500 colours of premium cotton embroidery floss. I also carry embroidery hoops in many different sizes. I'd love to stitch up something special for you!
My Instagram feed is the very best place to keep up with all of my stitching. Photos of work in progress, completed pieces, custom designs, and other behind-the-scenes can all be found there. Pop on over and say hello! @erinmcmom
