This is beautiful, but I am very surprised that it is strung on elastic. This might make it more comfortable for some, but it will not last very long with these heavy glass pearls, and since there are no knots between the pearls, there will be pearls everywhere when the elastic breaks. This sort of thing would be great to wear once or twice for a special occasion, which is the intent for bridal wear, but it will need to be completely re-strung (including knotting between each bead) to make something durable, which is what I'd wanted. So... I'd recommend this for comfortable and beautiful wear for a special occasion, but not as a piece to wear repeatedly. I'll keep it, but am disappointed that I didn't know it was strung on elastic.
