General Care Tips:
-Keep jewelry away from household cleaners and chlorine
-Always handle your jewelry gently
-To reduce tarnish and protect your jewelry, store each piece in its own ziplock or soft fabric bag and store in a cool, dark place.
-Colored rings may fade with time, but storing them in a ziploc or soft fabric bag helps minimize discoloration.

General Cleaning Tips (for most metals)
Place your pieces in a jar filled with warm water and non-lotion dish soap. Let them soak for several minutes, then shake the jar briskly to remove any dirt or oils that your jewelry has picked up. Rinse with warm water, rubbing the jewelry gently between your palms to remove any remaining dirt or oils. Let air dry or use a blow dryer on the coolest setting. See Metals Information below for more specific care and cleaning instructions.

Tarnish Information
Bronze, Jewelry Brass and Copper will all tarnish over time. Many people love seeing the range of hues these metals go through as they develop their patinas, but if you want to keep your jewelry bright and shiny, you can remove the patina from by soaking the piece in vinegar or a mixture of pure lemon juice and salt for 10-20 seconds. Remove the piece from the mixture and lather with non-lotion dishwashing soap and water. Rinse thoroughly with cold water, then dry the piece completely right away with a blow dryer on the lowest setting to prevent water spots. To keep your pieces bright and shiny for longer, store jewelry in airtight bag or container to slow down tarnishing. Squeeze out as much of the air as possible from the bag before closing.

Metals Information:

-Bright Aluminum: Shiny, silver-tone and lightweight, plus inexpensive which benefits us both! Follow general care and cleaning tips.

-Anodized Aluminum: All the benefits of bright aluminum, plus colorful! Aluminum is colored by first anodizing the rings (dipping them in an electrically charged solution) to prepare the surface, and then are dyed and sealed so the color lasts much longer. Follow general care and cleaning tips. Never use polishing clothes or cremes because they may remove the color from the rings.

-Anodized Niobium: Niobium is colored by anodizing the rings (dipping them in an electrically charged solution). The colors obtained depend on the voltage. Anodized niobium has a shimmering luminescent quality not found in other metals. Follow general care and cleaning tips. Never use polishing clothes or cremes because they may remove the color from the rings.

-Jewelry Brass: Jewelry brass is a durable mental with a nice weight to it. It can be kept at a high golden shine or allowed to develop a patina that gives it a vintage feel. Clean with any commercial jewelry cleaner safe for brass.

-Bronze: Bronze is extremely durable with nice weight. It has the look of aged copper, but is a much stronger metal. Bronze is an alloy of copper and tin, so it develops a patina quickly when not stored in an air-tight container. Follow general care and cleaning tips, but make sure to dry immediately to prevent water spots. See above for tips on preventing and removing tarnish.

-Copper: Copper has a wonderful weight to it, but it’s a softer metal so be careful when handling it. It quickly goes from bright new penny color to a deeper cocoa as it develops a patina. Do not wear overnight or when skin is wet, as it can occasionally stain the skin. It is a soft metal, so you should try to be extra-gentle with copper chainmaille pieces. Follow general care and cleaning tips, but make sure to dry immediately to prevent water spots. See above for tips on preventing and removing tarnish.

-Enameled Copper and Enameled Silvered Copper: Comes in a lot of colors. The silvered colors are especially vivid, because there is a layer of pure silver underneath the plastic "enameled" coating. However, because the color just coats the ring rather than being anodized into it, it’s more likely to develop nicks or scratches over time. Follow general care and cleaning tips. Never use polishing clothes or cremes because they may remove the color from the rings.

-Niobium
Niobium is a rare-earth metal. It’s hypoallergenic (though a select few may still react to this metal, and are better off with titanium). It will not tarnish. In its natural state, niobium has a subtle grey sparkle. Follow general care and cleaning tips.

-Stainless Steel
Stainless steel is super durable with a nice weight to it. It will not tarnish or develop a patina over time, Follow general care and cleaning tips.
