Description

The Page of Swords is about bright, vibrant energy without focus or control. The young woman leaps off a hill of wildflowers, swinging her sword playfully through the air. The wildness of her hair and ribbon suggest the joy that comes from discovering a new talent or skill, particularly the period before dedicating oneself to honing that skill.

In a reading, this card can either suggest vibrant, untamed energy that should be harnessed with care; or a young person with such energy, often bringing clarity without being aware of it. As a totem, this image reminds the viewer to find joy and delight in their work and life, and to be inspired by the energy (and occasional foolishness) of youth.

This fine art piece (limited edition of 10) is printed on archival, semi-gloss photo paper; dimensions 9"x16" (13"x20" w/ white border.) This original design is a combination of photography, drawing and digital media; a re-imagining of the classic divination tool, the Tarot. The print is signed on the back and comes with a certificate of authenticity.

The Gentry Smith Tarot deck is a work in progress, you can find more prints here:
