I did like the poncho knitting pattern. I knitted it but the hood was huge. Tried to alter it a bit but didn’t do too well. The overall effect was super cute. Easy instructions.

I wanted a pinch for my 4year old granddaughter so I started with pattern for 4/5 yr old. I knit about 15 inches and had to undo!!! It was HUGE!! So I knit the 12/18 mo. Version and it is still way to big!!! Need a version that is much smaller for a typical 4 year old etc

Thank you. With the right gauge you will get the finished measurements given in the pattern. As you see on the picture the poncho is oversized with the edges half way to the elbow, feel free to work a smaller size for more fitted look.
