Art Deco Ditmar Urbach porcelain figurine musician mandolin or guitar player, hand-painted in vibrant colors, from Czechoslovakia 1930s. Marked with the characteristic prewar-mark, a star and a wing on one side, which was only used between 1919-1938. After the WW-II until today, there are wings on both sides. "T" stands for Teplitz factory. Very nice, decorative piece in excellent condition.

Ditmar-Urbach AG, (Turn-Teplitz, Bohemia & Austria) the factory was founded in 1882 by the Urbach brothers. A must for collectors of prewar antiques!
