Hardened and Wear Resistant Stainless Steel

At CoinRingUSA®, we uphold the highest standards by sourcing only the best quality material and highly skilled craftsmanship when making our coin ring tools.

That’s why all CoinRingUSA® brand of folding/reduction dies are precision-smoothed, buffed, and then hand-polished to a superior finish on the inside die walls using a multi-step process that results in the most consistent and effective folding and reduction of any coin to make into a coin ring on the market. This die even leaves a polished finish to the edges of the ring, (see the last photo in this listing for reference.)

This Hardened Steel Reduction Die is double-sided, and has inside walls that are tapered at a unique, steeper 25° angle. That degree of inner die wall pitch allows for the maximum amount of detail on the outside of the coin ring to be better protected while it's being reduced during the final stage of sizing. Every die has been precision engraved with the corresponding size opening for easy identification.

I only use the highest quality materials and work with expert machinists who are true masters at their craft to bring you the best Reduction Dies at the best possible prices.

Below is one of many reviews that I have received regarding my coin ring tools:

* "A galaxy of stars wouldn't be enough to select from to reflect in how pleased I am with these new tools. Precision dies and cones and mandrel's epic quality and speedy shipping. I will continue to buy for sure."

Buying the right reduction dies the first time around is key; here's a great article on what to look for when buying them:

At 1" in total height, (25.5mm); it's sized to fit perfectly under most ring sizing machines and can be used with the plastic bearing balls to fold the coins, as it won’t mar or scratch the detail on the inside of the coin.

* NOTE * This die should be used after the initial reducing has been done from the other dies that I have available on my other listings.

This die will help your coin ring to achieve more of the "rounded side" look; (also called the 'Fat Tire' look.) Examples of coins that can be used in this universal reducing die are the Half Dollar, the Morgan / Peace Dollar coin, and the American Silver Eagle Dollar coin, as well as many other foreign coins.

* This is to be used in conjunction with the other dies available and not by itself alone.

This is one of 13 Reduction Dies that I currently have to offer. See my other listings for their availability. (The coins pictured are not included.)

- Always wear safety glasses.
- Keep fingers, long hair, and loose clothing away from any pinch points on the die.
- Make sure to anneal; (heat, then quench) the coin often that you are working.
