Felted wool mats, caves, as well as other natural wool items do not require washing. Wool naturally repels dirt, it is usually sufficient to air felted footwear for odours to disappear.
If necessary, wash the item by hand or in a washing machine on wool or hand-washing mode, use detergent for wool. The items should be washed and rinsed in warm water of the same temperature, as felted things shrink because of temperature variations.
Shape washed items by hand and leave to dry on absorbent surface such as a dry towel.

Wonderful handmade item! And because it's made of wool, no catnip is necessary, I really like that. My cats love the smell of it and are at once interested in it.
