Description

This berry bowl is the picture perfect place to rinse then serve summer fruit. The ceramic colander is perfectly sized for a basket of berries or a bunch of grapes, . Using the bowl to store the fruit in the fridge helps keep it fresh for longer.

The colander can also be used to hold small veggies, like tomatoes.

The pieces are glazed with a sage green that gets some hints of blue when fired.

The wheel thrown bowl is pierced on bottom and sides for good drainage, the foot is raised and notched and the saucer keeps the moisture from the counter or table. There is a spot in the center of the bottom of the bowl that was left unglazed so that it would not fuse to the kiln shelf. This will not affect the durability or function of the bowl.

The stoneware pieces are dishwasher safe and can be used in oven or microwave, with care.

The glaze is lead free and food safe.

Dimensions- Bowl -6 1/2" wide rim x 2 3/4" high, Saucer - 6 1/4" wide.
