There are 2 PDF files: one is for the pattern written using American crochet terms; the other file is written with British crochet terms.

This is a one-piece giraffe, well, almost : the ears are sewn on.
The head/nose/body/legs are made as one piece; this toy is made from bottom up; the spots are embroidered.

This baby giraffe is made in amigurumi crochet technique, the work is done in rounds.

Measurements: 7.5-8 inches (19-20cm) to the top of the head, another ¾ inch for ossicones (horns), made from Worsted Weight/Category 4/Aran/10ply 100% Acrylic yarn

There are many pictures to assist you in the process of making this giraffe; besides, you have my support via e-mail, if you need help; I check my e-mail often.

Crochet hook: I used crochet hook 3.75 mm ; USA – F-5. You might want to use different hook –everyone's style is different; the aim here is to make tight stitches, so the fill fiber does not show through.
Gauge/tension: 17-18 stitches in 2.5 inches (10cm) for Worsted Weight Yarn
