True Vintage from World War II era. Stored in glassine envelopes these pristine sequins are a rare item! When metals were rare during WWII (back then sequins were made from metal) these gems were used to add bling to womens clothing and hats. Made of a mixture of geletin and cornstarch, then painted. Highly irridescent shades of silver, bronze, pewter and gold. They resemble a flattened freshwater pearl. Use in all your mixed media art, art quilts and jewelry projects. 50 per pack
