Nestled in a quiet corner of the Napa Valley is the historic Mont La Salle vineyard. Purchased by the Christian Brothers in 1930 it was named after the founder of the order, St. John Baptist La Salle and eventually became one of the most successful wineries in California. It is the site of a lovely chapel, a conference center and houses the extensive Hess art collection. The image depicts a view looking north toward Mt Veeder just before the fall harvest.

This print is from an original oil painting by California artist Tom Rissacher and is created by Tom at his studio in Sonoma County, California. Available on 13 x 19 acid free watercolor paper for $55.

The canvas print is mounted on wood stretchers and features the gallery wrap meaning that the color wraps around the sides so it can be enjoyed with or without a frame. None of the image is cropped out with this method. The finished print is carefully hand textured by the artist to create realistic brushstrokes. This process makes it look more like an oil painting than a print. We use only pigment based archival inks which provide decades of truly vibrant color. Each print is wired and ready to hang. The cost for the small canvas print is $120.00.
