HOLIDAY DEADLINE NOVEMBER 30
Holiday shoppers please note: Because of the holiday rush and the relatively long production time for my items, I cannot guarantee that orders placed after November 30th will arrive in time for the holidays. Of course I will do my best to get my items to you as quickly as possible, but if you need your order before Christmas please place your order before this date.

This is a set of metal dice that can be used in board games or role playing games. The set consists of a D4, D6, D8, D10, D12 and D20 die. Each of these dice have their sides numbered in the regular way, in which the numbers on opposing sides always add up to the highest number on the die +1. The dice are all perfectly balanced so that they give fair results when rolled.

PLEASE NOTE: For a set that includes an extra decader (10D10 or percentage) die, please see my other items. Single dice from this set are also available in my shop as individual items. For more unique polyhedral dice sets have a look at the other items in my shop.

These dice are 3D printed in steel, and are available in several different finishes. (For an example of the look of these finishes, please have a look at the last picture.)
Because of the 3D printing process the surface of the dice is slightly grainy. Because they are printed in steel they have a nice solid feel and weight to them. (The full set weighs approximately 51 grams, whereas a regular plastic set weighs only about 23 grams.) The height of the dice are as follows.
D4 - 26 mm
D6 - 18 mm
D8 - 20 mm
D10 - 25 mm
D12 - 24 mm
D20 - 30 mm

You will receive the dice in their blank metal state. To give the dice some more definition and make the numbers stand out more, you can easily darken or 'ink' the recessed parts. (You can see what inking the base steel material will look like in the second picture.) To ink your dice take a small paintbrush and some thinned black acrylic paint (about one part water to one part black acrylic) and simply dab the thinned paint all over the die. Let it dry out (you can use a hairdryer to speed this up) and gently rub the painted die on a piece of cloth. This will remove the paint from the more exposed areas, and leave it behind in the folds and the background behind the numbers. If you missed a spot, or if you want a heavier effect just repeat these steps until you get it to look just the way you want.

Please be advised that, with the plain steel material option, as a result of the production process, there can sometimes be some residual particles of polishing medium stuck in the details of the design. These bits of polishing medium, which look like small grains of sand, can be easily removed using a pin, a toothpick or a small (wire) brush.
