This listing is for a set of 10 postcards featuring 10 different photographs from The Secret History of Carnival Talk by Sarah Kate Istra Winter (Fær Press, 2014). These photographs were taken in the Beckmann & Gerety travelling carnival in 1937.

Explore the sideshow bally, the Ferris wheels, the reptile show, the fortune-tellers, and much more!

Each postcard measures 4.25" x 5.5" and is printed on recycled cardstock with a matte finish. Varied sepia tones according to the original photographs. Reverse side identifies the photo, with plenty of space to write. These photos are so interesting and detailed, they are suitable for framing!

I also offer plain white envelopes for the cards if you would prefer to keep your messages private, and/or avoid postmarks on the cards. Just select the appropriate option when adding to your cart.

Visit my shop to purchase a set including the postcards and a signed copy of the book!
