An inspired young milliner has a revolutionary vision as she stands in her designer's studio and admires her last project, an extravagantly avant garde fashion topper that her sister is modeling while they work. With seamstress scissors in hand and a sketch pencil in her auburn hair, the creative wheels are turning in the mind of this impassioned millinery fashion designer. While deciding the direction of their newest design, the sisters praise the beauty and artistry of their completed Elizabethan ruff bridal lace fascinator. The hat presents a beautiful shade of olive green and is accented with black ribbon that ties under the chin, an oval gold framed orange brooch with blue feathers, and a pointed brim reminiscent of dramatic horns!

These designing women have an eye for haute couture clothing ensembles as well, as one sister wears a costume that perfectly matches the stunningly embellished chapeau; it too is olive green, and it features a lovely white pointed Chelsea collar and is draped with an opulent white angora fur opera bolero! The milliner sister standing with her back turned towards the observer wears an emerald green jewel trimmed black dress with white accordion bell sleeves. As one sister holds up a long piece of ornate fabric, the other sister is about to cut it as the collective minds of the soul sisters unite and form a cohesive path in their latest design in progress.

Making a strikingly stylish gift for a millinery couturier inspired by the style trends of the 1910s, this vintage Vogue cover fashion plate features original illustration artwork by renowned American artist illustrator George Wolfe Plank, and it would look magnificent framed and displayed in an art nouveau or art deco style bedroom, dressing or changing room, walk-in closet, ladies' vanity powder room, bathroom, or fashion designer studio!

Recovered from a vintage fashion book published in 1980, this is one of the stylish high quality full page reprints presented from the 1910s collection of Vogue Magazine covers; its original debut date is: "October 15, 1913". Please note that the "LaOohLaLa Boutique" watermark shown in the image provided is not present on your vintage original print.

As seen in the second image provided there is another Vogue cover print featured, this one is illustrated by famous American fashion artist and costume designer Helen Dryden. It is the "March 1, 1916" Vogue cover and it doesn't quite fill the entire page like the cover shown on the reverse side of the page. It displays a "bright, white and springlike" image depicting a lady wearing a hat that is"huge-brimmed to ward off freckles", and would also look breathtaking framed and displayed...especially in a spring inspired cottage chic boudoir!

In excellent mint condition, this vintage original lithograph Vogue Condé Nast & Co. cover print appears to be flawless and pristine...making it a lovely gift!
