As you may or may not know, I have been selling some of the more rare pieces of Cracker Jack items from my purchase of left-over stock from Borden when they sold the brand to Frito-Lay.

I have never offered these since I have just got around to unpacking the original factory box. Pretty cool stuff.

You are bidding on one of the baseball figures as listed in the Larry White CRACKER JACK TOYS Collector's Guide. Page 156 has the example photos in the book, and the listing is F-8100 and text is on page 157. His text states; "Baseball player series consisting of several players, the first set in grey, the second in blue.". He goes on to state that there are two different shades of those colors too. Then in the last lines in the book it states, "Any other colors are rare and would command at least a 100% premium.".

I offer to you the VERY RARE bright pink. What boy wants PINK? Lol. Girls were only occassionally interested in baseball if I recall. These were either given to a sister or were thrown out. Yours will be mint and ready to display. Unmarked. The blue and grey were sometimes marked and sometime unmarked. These PINK ones were older and made first.

I am also going to be listing the 1950s Olympic F8120 and F8130 figures soon. All from original unopened mini-factory boxes. My source for all the extra information is from a long-time Cracker Jack employee who now lives in retirement in Cincinnati Ohio. He said that these were a mistake by the company in Hong Kong who made these for Cracker Jack but no way to verify this other than his word. He also said these were put out in Cracker Jack bags in major league games throughout the US. These came from Cincinnati area where the Reds play.

Measure about 1.5 inches.

Want a full set? Let me know and I can add an ETSY Store listing for the designs I have.

My numbering system does not correspond with the book. Check my images to see the design you are bidding on.
